I figure this would be a fun/useful thread for translation help. I already have one lol.

Here is a sample sentence out of my practice books. The only important part is knowing the reading for the kanji, but the actual sentence itself is bugging me.

ぎじゅつが進みいまこの国は世界の工場といわれるまでになった。

What I get out of it is something like, ”It is still becoming to be said, progressing technology now in this country is the world's factories." Totally confusing. I don't really understand.

Any help would be appreciated.

Here's a song title: "みんながいる世界をひとつに愛をもっとGive&Takeしましょう" With random English in the middle, haha. When I first saw it, I stared at it for like ten minutes. I understand all the individual words, but I've never been able to make sense out of it. ^_^;;
