Japanese PSN store

Does anyone have a Japanese PSN account? There's a shit load of old Japanese games on the Japanese psn store. I'm really tempted to buy FF8+FF9. Only 1500円　each!

I do, got a few things like BF1943 and Megaman 9, but FF8 and 9 you should be able to find cheaper at a bookoff though... 1500 is a bit high for those games.

You can find them at a bookoff, but my ps3 is not backwards compatible. PSN is the only route, which is fine by me.

Can you buy from the US PSN store while in Japan using an American account? Just asking because sometimes those things get flagged for fraud alert by credit card companies.

I think you're fine, but you'll have to login to a Japanese account to get Japanese games, and your credit card WONT WORK for the Japanese PSN cause it has to have a Japanese address attached. You'll have to get PSN money from a 7/11

Protip: Don't rely on credit cards in Japan (Unless you want to drive on the freeways)

Also! If you buy Japanese games, play them on your Japanese account, or you can't get the DLC. Toure had this problem with Super Street Fighter 4. His Street Fighter 4 data won't load onto the new game because it was an American copy.

Thanks man. I been trying to score a US SSF4 for cheap since I already have the alternate costumes from the original SF4 (US DLC).
